The rewards can mean you feel more positive, have more control over your choices in life and feel greater hope for the future.
What is Counselling?
Life can sometimes seem like one long struggle. It may be because of something specific such as bereavement, illness, relationship difficulties or a traumatic event. Sometimes there may be no apparent reason at all.
Some people feel they are just not coping with life and others may experience feelings of sadness, anger, anxiety or stress. These are just some of the difficulties that people can experience that can be helped with counselling.
At Carleton Treatment Centre counselling services are provided by Elaine Bramhall – visit the Practitioners section to find out more about her. Counselling is a type of treatment that works by one person (the client) being in relationship with another (Elaine). By offering a safe environment where you can be yourself, difficulties, feelings or experiences can be explored with the emotional safety net of professional support.
This process can be difficult and sometimes painful, but the rewards can mean you feel more positive, have more control over your choices in life and feel greater hope for the future.
