Pauline Munro MCSP
Pauline is the practice proprietor and has 15 years’ experience in private practice. Her first private practice was developed and operated from Fleetwood Rugby Club, providing treatment for players over 6 years from 1993. She accompanied the team to Twickenham, where they went on to win The Provincial Cup Final.
Pauline went on to relocate her clinic to Queensway Medical Centre in Poulton-le-Fylde, where she practiced for 8 years. Around the same time, she ran a clinic providing private treatment from Carleton Surgery.
In 2007, Pauline amalgamated the two clinics and established the Carleton Treatment Centre, bringing her skill to a wider client base and enabling an even higher level of service.
Pauline’s clinical expertise is in the treatment of a wide range of musculo-skeletal injuries, and acute and chronic spinal pain. This includes providing physiotherapy for medico-legal companies, treating whiplash and other related injuries.
Taking a hands-on approach with every client, Pauline has a real interest in each case and is highly motivated to help you achieve your goals.
Using a combination of appropriate treatment techniques, exercises and postural advice, Pauline works hard to resolve the problem and prevent re-occurrence. Her aim is to get to the root of the problem and not just treat the symptoms.
Elaine Bramhall BA(Hon) MBACP
Elaine is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, with a professional background is in midwifery and, more recently, in end of life care within the NHS. She also delivers communication skills training and has worked at a hospice as a bereavement counsellor.
Elaine’s interest in counselling began many years ago as she struggled to understand difficulties in her own life. This interest led her to discover the work of Carl Rogers, the originator of person centred counselling. Rogers believed that in most cases, humans strive towards positivity and self improvement, working to understand themselves better and move towards their maximum potential.
Elaine’s background and experience means she has a particular depth of knowledge relating to fertility and infertility difficulties, childbirth, trauma, miscarriage, pregnancy loss and bereavement.
